A new version of Linux Mint 10 is now available for download. The new Linux Mint 10 LXDE provides updates on pre-installed softwares and refinements to make your desktop even more convenient to use. The Software Manager is improved with a better categorization of softwares and the use of application icons.
For those who are not familiar with LXDE (Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment) is a desktop environment created with the goal of being extremely light and responsive (even on older machines), even though it is complete and updated.
