Banshee 1.9.4 is a development version, the third in a series 1.9.x which leads to the next Banshee 2.0. Banshee Daily PPA is now available and all users can upgrade to version 1.9.4. Enhancements includes MultimediaKeys which support pause, fastforward, rewind, repeat and shuffle operations.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:banshee-team/banshee-daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install banshee
