Installation
If you want to try the latest version on your Ubuntu, do the following.
1. Install dependences, open terminal and paste:
sudo apt-get install libqt4-dbus libqt4-network libqt4-xml libasound2
2. Download Skype, in the terminal type:
For Ubuntu 32bit:
wget http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-beta-ubuntu-32
For Ubuntu 64bit:
wget http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-beta-ubuntu-64
3. Installation, type in the terminal:
sudo dpkg -i getskype-*
sudo apt-get -f install
You can find Skype under Applications -> Internet -> Skype. Now you can also Record your Skype calls.
