Banshee 1.9.3 became available for OpenSUSE and Ubuntu 11.04 a few days before. Now here we are providing you with the PPA for installing it in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick and 10.04 Lucid. Banshee 1.9.3 is a development release, part of the 1.9.x series leading up to Banshee 2.0.
The latest Banshee has SoundMenu with support for the integration of library and now you can keep a list of recently used remote servers with Daap. It also has some major bug fixes and improvements.
To install Banshee 1.9.3 in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick / 10.04 Lucid, open Terminal and type :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:banshee-team/banshee-daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install banshee
