LibreOffice development team is on the final works of version 3.3. The Release Candidate 4 is out now and can be installed in Ubuntu and other Linux distros via ppa. This office suite is sure to make a massive impact in the open source software arena.
To install LibreOffice 3.3 RC4 in Ubuntu Lucid or Maverick, just open a terminal and type:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libreoffice libreoffice-l10n
For gnome add
sudo apt-get install libreoffice-gnome
For kde add
sudo apt-get install libreoffice-kde
Now your LibreOffice 3.3 RC4 will be installed.
