LibreOffice, the replacement for OpenOffice has released their new release candidate 3. This release fixes many compatibility issues related to Ubuntu 10.10. It claims to bring new improvements along with speed performance speed.

Installation
To add the PPA and install LibreOffice RC3, open the terminal and type:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install libreoffice
You can install it specially for different enviroment
Ubuntu users should also run:
sudo apt-get install libreoffice-gnome
Kubuntu users:
sudo apt-get install libreoffice-kde
