Last time we discussed about Nokia PC Suite (Nokuntu) for Ubuntu users, well now check out LinBerry – a Blackberry PC Suite for Linux. Although BlackBerry is a complete business mobile it lacks a simple app for Ubuntu which can synchronise the phone. In recent years many user applications for Linux to manage mobile devices has been released, one of them is LinBerry.
LinBerry is an application to manage BlackBerry devices on Linux disros. It helps you to make backups of mobile device to your system, synchronize and manage contacts. It allows installation and uninstallation of applications with a few clicks.
It is still in beta stage but I have successfully tested it with Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10.
LinBerry has been tested with handheld BlackBerry RIM 8520 and 8900 Curve, Bold 9000 and 9650 but I think it is compatible with all models.
You can download and use LinBerry for Linux from here.
