The famous non-profit company Wine has once again released a new version Wine 1.3.10. For those of you are new to wine, it is a virtual platform to run windows based applications in Linux. As usual the new version brings many bug fixes and new features.
It comes with improved translations, supports notifications in the system tray and improved the Active X functions.

To install Wine in Ubuntu 10.04 / 10.10, open the terminal and type:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install wine1.3
