Hardly two weeks are over prior to the previous wine 1.3.8 release. Now the development team has released the new wine 1.3.9. The new were has major bugs fixed prior to the previous release, it now supports ActiveX in the built-in browser and it has the shortcut icons fixed.

To install in Ubuntu 10.10, open the terminal and copy/paste:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine1.3
