On August 11, Joshua Topolsky Editor-in-chief of Engadget reported Sony Ericsson PlayStation phone with a mockup picture. The anticipated description of the phone stated that it’s a landscape slider with game controls in place of the typical QWERTY keyboard, which will be running on Gingerbread (Android 3.0).Yesterday morning, once again Joshua came up with the photo of the new phone (similar to the mockup image) thereby confirming his earlier anticipation. It became obvious that the device pictured in the mockup image was the prototype.
Engadget reports 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 (a chip similar to the one found in the G2, but 200MHz faster), 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, and the screen in the range of 3.7 to 4.1 inches to be expected in the phone.
As per Joshua its codename is “Zeus,” and it was last seen running Android 2.X. Sony immediately denied this report. With the trust engadget gained by the similar reports on MacBook Air, iPad and iPhone 4, it is evident that this Sony Ericsson phone will come into existence in a few months. It is time for the SE fans to expect a new era of android gaming experience with their favorite gaming brand.
